Functional In-ground Hot Tub

Finally! I converted my favorite TS3 hot tub into functional TS4 object. As you see, the hot tub works the same as EA hot tubs even though it is IN ground! 

  • I resized and edited the original mesh and replaced the rocks with TS4 rocks to make them Maxis match.

  • I also added the water effect. I’m not completely satisfied with the way the water flows from the tap, but it seemed the only plausible fx from the basegame.

  • Move

    Objects cheat is not required to place the object, but is necessary to use all the slots. 

  • It is a known issue that the water and ground

    textures appear to overlap. So it is

    recommended

    to fill under the hot tub with a rock terrain paint.

  • You must have Perfect Patio stuff (SP02) installed for this object to work in your game. 

Compatability

  • This hot tub is actually an object tuning mod. So there is a slight chance that the tuning might be affected by some future patch.
  • But it shouldn’t conflict with any hot-tub-related mod as it has nothing to do with interaction tuning.
