Oof. I ran into issues with the jonesi blankets converted by msteaqueen. She has since stopped creating/playing the sims 4 and after getting some advice from a few other lovely simblrs I was able to figure out it was a simple fix! With permission from MSTQ I decided to upload those fixed files! She’s going to update her post as well, but until then you can get the download from here! (sfs, ad-free)

so it’s supposed to be like… for playful lovers or smt but uhh most of these also work for just friends lmao. also the female (or male!! it’s just that the poses are more feminine) has rigs that makes her/him smaller, so there might be glitches with clothes?? nothing too noticeable, but yeah. and i got a lil lazy with the preview pics so like… sorry? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ and uh click on them for better view.

Unfamiliar: A Preset for Reshade 3.0

Been working on this for a few weeks and I finally did it! A reshade preset based around my sad story posts with high contrast and desaturation, named after the song “Unfamiliar Energy” by Sophie Meiers. 

TOGGLE KEYS

  • MXAO – F5 
  • Bloom – F6
  • MartyMcfly DOF – Caps Lock 
  • Matso DOF – 4 (Both DOFs are mouse-driven btw)
  • Sepia – 5
  • Filmic Pass – 6

This is only good for screenshots. It’s heavy in DOF so I don’t recommend you keep it on for gameplay. There’s other shaders in this such as curves, levels, ambient light, etc. that don’t have toggle keys so feel free to give those toggle keys if you want to turn them off. Also feel free to change any of the ones I’ve given!

OTHER INFO AND INSTRUCTIONS

  • How to install Reshade
  • Make sure edge-smoothing and post-processing is off for DOF to work. 
  • To install the preset, drop it in C:Program Files (x86)Origin GamesThe Sims 4GameBin (or wherever you have your game installed)
  • While in game, hit Shift + F2 and you’ll find my preset under “stillgotme_Unfamiliar”
  • Enjoy!
