I sit here attempting to draw but i can’t even focus. He’s on my mind i cant figure out how my life got to this point. Ethan found me after all this time, I still can’t believe he looked for me. The first time we met was in middle school, i was an awkward new student trying my best to make myself invisible, but he saw me. He was the first to be nice to me and wanted nothing in return. A few short months later it was the end of the year and we had grown close. We’ll in that awkward preteen stage were we had feelings but were to embarrassed to ever say them out loud. High school made us grow apart even more, he got into drugs and easy girls but I wanted to study.Near senior year he started to clean up his act and i gave him a shot. At first it was hard but we made it through till graduation, we even got into the same college. Slowly though we grew apart studying was taking up so much time we hardly saw each other. He saw plenty of other girls though. After about three months i finally gave in and i broke up with him . the next year i took an internship on the west coast and that was that. Now hes here again clean sober with a good job. I’m not sure what happened but it was the wake up call he needed. This time it’s different, he’s different more mature, an actual adult, yet hes still my best friend from middle school.
